Asustek supplied 40% of gaming notebooks in the world market
In the first half of 2015, the largest manufacturer of gaming laptops in the world is Taiwan's Asustek Computer, wrote portal DigiTimes, citing sources from the supply lines.According to their data, in January-June, the ASUS share was about 40% of the total delivered gaming notebooks equipped with discrete graphics cards Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M, 960M, 970M and 980M.
The second producer after Asustek this indicator is Lenovo, with a share of about 30% of the total score. Much of Lenovo's products placed on the domestic market - in China. Third and fourth place are occupied by Taiwanese company Micro-Star International (MSI) and Acer, offering the supply of gaming laptops that range from 11% to 15%. MSI's gaming models and Acer are mainly sold in Europe, notes the source. In terms of the decline in demand for standard consumer grade notebooks, most PC-focused companies largely focus on niche market segments such as furniture lovers of computer games. In fact, more and more manufacturers join the production of such products as market competition increases, which negatively affects the profitability of many players.
