Chinese PeLED offer an alternative to OLED

The LEDs are distinguished from PeLED OLEDs with higher color purity and low cost of the materials
Researchers from the University of Science and Technology Pohang in South Korea created LED-based perovskite (PeLED).
They argue that their development may find application in displays and lighting panels.Such LEDs are created earlier, and had a very low capacity for light transmittance. According to Korean scientists, the new  PeLED compete in this indicator phosphorescent organic LED forward Noodls.com. The main problem of PeLED is significant dissociation of excitons in layers of perovskite. Pohang researchers have managed to overcome this disadvantage by very fine adjustment of the ratio between the substance in the material and reducing the particle size in perovskite. The LEDs are distinguished from PeLED OLEDs with higher color purity and low cost of materials. It is low cost and high uniformity PeLED make more appealing, compared with the light emitting diodes of quantum dots (QDLED).
