The model is an upgraded version of the ThinkPad 700C. Lenovo released a special edition of the ThinkPad on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the laptop. The Lenovo ThinkPad 25th Anniversary Edition is crafted in retro style, reminiscent of the original ThinkPad 700C, announced on October 5, 1992 by IBM. The jubilee laptop retains a number of external features of its predecessor, a seven-line classical keyboard (now backlit), a blue Enter key, and a blue mark on the help keys. The ThinkPad 25 is decorated with the appropriate logo and comes in a special package.
The notebook delivers a 14-inch touchscreen with Full HD 1920x1080 pixel resolution and boasts an eighth-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor, complemented by a Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics card, 16GB DDR4 memory, and a 512GB PCIe SSD semiconductor disk.
Lenovo has embedded the model and fingerprint scanner. The battery provides up to 18 hours of autonomy for the device, says the manufacturer. Three USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C (Intel Thunderbolt 3), HDMI, gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5-mm headphone socket and a 4-in-1 card reader are available.
